Gateway to the world (Kolkata Post Office Museum)

Transcending the confines of the traditional classroom, the fledgling scholars of Classes II, III and IV from Ruby Park Public School embarked upon a series of enlightening expeditions to the iconic Kolkata General Post Office on the 12th, 21st and 24th of November, 2025. Upon beholding the majestic white Corinthian columns and the soaring dome of this heritage landmark, the students were instantly transported into a bygone era of architectural splendour and administrative precision. Guided through the rhythmic pulse of the postal system, the children observed with wide-eyed wonder the intricate journey of a letter, from the ceremonial ink of a postmark to the systematic sorcery of the sorting rooms. This scholarly odyssey provided a tactile understanding of communication and flourished as a vibrant tapestry of learning, leaving the young minds enriched by the legacy of an institution that has stood as a silent sentinel of time.
